We are a Texas non-profit corporation. Association membership is automatic when you purchase a lot or home within the community. The association is only responsible for maintaining the common areas owned by the homeowners association and providing architectural control and compliance with the Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions (CC&Rs).
Keep in mind that the CC&Rs are meant to protect the rights of each individual while maintaining an agreeable limit of decorum to ensure that a neighbor’s property values and way of life are not adversely affected.
